    Dr Rashmeen Nirmal, Registered Psychologist

    More about Dr Nirmal

    Dr Nirmal is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, at The University of British Columbia (UBC) where she provides clinical supervision to medical students, residents, and fellows. She is also a Qualified Specialist with the British Columbia Autism Assessment Network (BCAAN) at BC Children's Hospital where she provides autism assessments and Tier 4 assessments (for medically and genetically complex children).

     

    Rashmeen was the previous Director of the PEERS Clinic at UBC, an evidence-based social skills program for teens and young adults. Through the PEERS Clinic, she supervised Masters and Doctoral students in their clinical work. Previously, she worked with Child and Youth Mental Health services and with the Provincial Outreach Program for Autism and Related Disorders (POPARD) providing consultation and assessment for school-aged children with ASD around beautiful British Columbia.
